Year 5 Cell Projects

The Year 5 students have been learning about living organisms and what they are made up of…cells!! As part of their project, students had to create a model of either an animal or plant cell using edible or non-edible materials.

All students did an amazing job with their models (please have a look at the photos!) and all students and teachers were very excited to be eating cake every day for a week.

RV Corner

Assalamu Alaikum!

In term 3, we have been learning about the Islamic History and Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) Life. Upper primary had a lot fun time creating their "Information Maps" using smart pens and sound stickers. Lower Primary spent more time for learning the Family members of the Prophet with hands-on activities. Here are some snapshots from RV class. Mrs Golcuk

Professor Maths Visits School!

On Wednesday the Primary School had a very special visitor: Professor Maths! Professor Maths brought along with him fun "Hands-on" Maths Problem Solving Activities for Prep right through to Grade Six.

There were exciting and stimulating Maths Activities set up around the room for students to explore with their team. Working together, they solved each mathematical problem whilst having fun.

Professor Maths and the teachers were on hand for each group to guide, advise and encourage the students.

We all had a fabulous time!
